Brewster Haunted House had many FCCLA helpers

Brewster Chapter of FCCLA, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America; sponsored a Haunted House for Halloween. FCCLA, the ultimate leadership experience is unique among youth organizations because it programs are planned and run by members.

Its the only career and technical in-school student organization with the family as its central focus.

The haunted house has been a concept that FCCLA has talked about for several years, but this group finally got it put together with a lot of hard work and sweat. It wouldn't have happened without the leadership of our President - Gabriela Ortega.

There was a great core of students that did most of the work and majority of the planning: Gabriela Ortega, Erandy Esquivel, Teresa Nila, Angie Vazquez, Ainela Carrillo, Melisa Corrales, Naly Diaz, Roberto Trejo, Emmanuel Martinez, Yesenia Mendez Leon,

Students that helped: Dario Orozco, Luiz Fabian-Ledesma, Erik Pamatz, Lisandra Arevelo, Lourdes Martinez, Oscar Gallaga, Kelvin Oregon, Pedro Ortega, Yovana Perez, Celeste Dulce, Luis Fabian, Jose Marin, Isaac Suarez, Marla Banda, Kimberly Nila, Jovani Nila, Alfredo Nila, Oscar Amador, Vanessa Zamora.

Haunted House Rooms: Bloody Mary: Melisa Corrales, Erik Pamatz, Dr. "Play" Angie Vazquez, "Hospital room" Roberto Trejo, Dr. Kelvin Oregon, Patient. Selling and taking tickets, Teresa Nila.

These Students are in a Creative Design class that uses design principles and elements of design to create useful items around the home. They designed and created tombstones from cardboard that were used in the Haunted house: Benito Amaro, Ana Aparicio, Juan Arellano, Cristal Cardena, Yvette Carrillo, Jesus Castro, Harley Clune, Luis Fabian, Jennifer Gomez, Edith Huerta, Alejandro Martinez, Edwin Perea, Felipe Roman, David Ronquillo, Manuel Saldivar, Cheyanne Sandoval, Victoria Stam, Eduardo Valladarez, Madeline Varrelm.
