Brewster H.S. to host annual carnival for younger students

Posted
BREWSTER - I am Patricia Shelton and I teach 11 and 12 grades CWP and US History at Brewster High School. For years every year I have had seniors head up a food drive here at all grade levels - a number of classrooms participate - if anyone would like to donate they could drop non-perishable food, or checks to the Brewster Food Bank, off at the High School or District Office and they will be sure it gets to the food drive. All donations go to the Brewster Food Bank. Also, for years I have the seniors put on a carnival-type event on the last Saturday before Christmas break which this year is Saturday, Dec. 13.

The event is free for all children sixth grade and younger. We are in need of items that can be given away as prizes and we can always use money donations to buy prizes.

There is absolutely no money going any where except to provide for prizes. The event also includes a chance to visit with Santa and receive a Santa sack. The activities run from 12 to 1 p.m. (I know that does not sound like much but we run through our prizes quickly because a child always receives a prize regardless if the 'game' they completed the task successfully.)
