Owners of the Pateros Co-op Preschool have announced they have opening for children three to five years of age. "Ghosts, Goblins and Ghouls" golf tournament Saturday
The Lake Woods Golf Club will sponsor its annual "Ghost, Goblins and Ghouls" fundraising golf tournament this Saturday, Sept. 27, beginning at 11 a.m. Sign-in begins at 10 a.m. Cost is $35 per person and includes dinner. The proceeds go to help pay for the golf club's operation.

Church of Nazarene to celebrate 100th anniversary
The Rocky Butte Church of the Nazarene will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Nazarene denomination with a birthday party Sunday, Oct. 5 at the church, located at 3038-3 SR 173 on Bridgeport Bar. Weekly services begin at 11 a.m., with a potluck luncheon following at about noon; there will be cake and ice cream-it's a birthday party, after all. All interested persons are invited.

SOS Bible Club to begin Oct. 8
The "Sword of the Spirit" (SOS) Bible Club will begin meeting for the winter Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Community Log Church in Brewster.
The Bible club is for children in kindergarten through sixth grade; it meets each Wednesday from 3:15 to 5 p.m. in the Glessner Annex at the church, located at 501 West Indian Avenue. Snacks are served beginning at 3 p.m. The program includes Bible lessons and verses, games and songs. All interested children are invited.
