MANSON -  The Manson Community Council currently has two at-large positions open.  You must be a resident of Manson and a registered voter within the Manson School District.  At least 10 signatures from registered voters within the district are required.  The top two vote getters will be council members. This form is available on line at www.MansonCommunityCouncil.com or you can pick up one at Allison’s of Manson or the Lake Chelan Reclamation Office. If elected the term of office will be effective as of January 1, 2019, and run for three years.  Election of officers will be held at the January 15, 2019, meeting.  The next council meeting is November 20, 2018, and they encourage you to attend the meeting at the Manson Park Office at 6:00 p.m.

Holiday Boutique

CHELAN - The Chelan Senior Center will hold its Holiday Boutique, bake sale and luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the center, 534 E. Trow Avenue. For vendor table info call 682-2712. Luncheon will be homemade potato and ham chowder or chili, with bread. Cinnamon rolls and coffee will also be available.

MANSON - Holiday Extravaganza sponsored by the Manson Apple Blossom committee has openings for vendors.  The bazaar will be held at the Manson Grange Hall on Nov. 24, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  Email Linda Blessin at lblessin@nwi.net or call her, 687-5008 for vendor table signup. There will be lots of crafts for gifts and home: Jewelry, handmade soaps, card, jams, candles, crochet and sewing items, painting, art work, gift baskets, bake sale and much more. There will also be freshly baked blueberry muffins, pie and coffee.

Rock Painting: There is a free Rock Painting Class the last Tuesday  of each month, 2-4 p.m. All are welcome.

CHELAN - Join Chelan Fire & Rescue’s Fire Chief Tim Lemon, Deputy Chief Mark Donnell, or Assistant Chief Brandon Asher for a morning cup of coffee 9-10 a.m. on Wednesdays at The Vogue in downtown Chelan.

Cancer Support Group, yoga class

CHELAN - The Women’s Wellness Group, cancer support group, meets the second Tuesday of each month with lunch provided by the Wenatchee Wellness Place, at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board Room at 11:45 a.m.  For more information, contact Anne at 682-8718.
Wellness/Restorative yoga, a guided practice of gentle yoga postures and movement designed for cancer survivors, individuals living with acute or chronic illnesses, and caregivers is available at no charge. This class is held each Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. at Yogachelan.  Contact Yogachelan for more information.

MANSON - The Manson Chamber of Commerce November Manson Mingle will be held on Nov. 14, 6-8 p.m. at Mountain View Lodge in Manson. Connect with other business owners and learn about success of past events and learn what they have scheduled for the rest of the year. Appetizers and beverage will be provided.
