Entiat Holiday Bazaar
The Entiat Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold its 24th annual Numerica Credit Union Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 9, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at Entiat High School. Set up times are Friday, Nov. 8, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 9, 7-9 a.m. Cleanup starts at 4 p.m. on Saturday. For more information call Marie Stenberg at 509-679-6270.

Lake Chelan Eagles
Lake Chelan Eagles Holiday Bazaar and bake Sale will be held on Nov. 30, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Eagle Lodge in downtown Chelan. There will be crafts, handmade, commercial items and more plus music, goodies and fun. Vendor applications are available at the Eagles or call Pat at 509-682-0268 or 509-682-2021.

Trick or Treat in downtown Chelan
There will definitely be treats and a trick or two when Historic Downtown Chelan celebrates Halloween, according to the Historic Downtown Chelan Association. HDCA invites all goblins, ghosts, ghouls, princesses, cowboys and their Mummies and Deadies to join the fun hosted by downtown Chelan businesses from 5-7 p.m., Halloween. Schedule for the evening: 5 p.m. Pumpkin Carving Contest Winners announced; 5:15-7 p.m. Trick or Treat in downtown businesses; Haunted Bistro (free) at Campbell's 5-7 p.m. Zombie Flash Mob, 6 p.m. www.historicchelan.org for more info.

HDCA 1st Friday
HDCA's First Friday Event is a Cozy Quilt & Cookie Walk on Nov. 1, 5-8 p.m. Enjoy the beauty and craftsmanship of handmade quilts created by local artists and vote for your three favorites and enjoy cookies at participating merchants. Storybook Lady Pamela Schmidt will read to kids and offers a craft at Riverwalk Books. Lake Chelan Historical Museum will host the 3 Amigos playing outside from 5-6 p.m. and inside kids can create a make-it-and-take-it craft. Main Street Gallery will feature Diane Paton Peel painting with oil and 5 community organizations share information. www.historicchelan.org.

Chelan Library Grand Opening Celebration week
Grand opening celebration week for the new Chelan P ublic Library begins with a ribbon cutting ceremony, presentations, library tours, refreshments and more on Friday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m. Activities continue daily through Nov. 9. Trail cleanup day
Echo Ridge Trail Volunteer Day is Nov. 2, 10a.m.-2 p.m. and is sponsored by the Lake Chelan Nordic Ski Club. Coffee, hot chocolate and treats provided. Come help clear Echo Ridge trails of rocks and such so they can mow and get ready for Snow Grooming. All hours get credit for the club grooming and your trails. Clothing giveaway
Clothing and accessories will be given away on Nov. 2 and 16, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Riverwalk Closet, located at Chelan Riverwalk Church on the corner of Emerson Street and Okanogan Avenue in Chelan. Clothing etc. is given away the 1st and 3rd Saturdays every month. To donate items call April at 682-3151.

C.V.G.S. special speaker
Chelan Valley Genealogical Society will have Donna Potter Phillips as speaker at the Nov. 9 meeting, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the new Chelan P ublic Library, 216 Emerson Street. Donna, currently president of Eastern Washington Genealogical Society, is a popular lecturer and author of numerous articles on family history, will teach "How to Organize Your Genealogical Material" and "Writing Your Memoirs". CVP's 'Love Letters'
The Chelan Valley Players is producing "Love Letters" by A. R. Gurney, starring Doug Leese and Jeannie Kapple. It will be performed as a dinner theatre piece on Nov 8 and 9 at Tsillan Cellars in Chelan with the dinner by Sorrento's Restaurant at 6:30 p.m., show to follow. The tickets are $40 and can be purchased through brownpapertickets.com, or at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. Call to Artists: 'Peace through Art'
Icicle Arts Gallery in Leavenworth is pleased to announce their special holiday art exhibit and sale "Peace through Art", on display Dec. 6- 22 and their are now accepting artist submissions. What does peace mean to you? Create a work of art to reflect your thoughts about Peace in any media you wish. Artists may submit up to three original pieces. All canvas/ frames must be 12"x12" or smaller, and fit the theme of Peace. Submissions due by Friday, Nov. 15. More details at iciclearts.org/peace.

Auditions for The Wizard of Oz
Auditions for OVOC Spring Musical, The Wizard of Oz, will be 9 a.m. on Nov. 16, at the Performing Arts Center, Omak, located at the Omak High School, 20 S. Cedar, Omak. The show performances are May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 2014. Vocal auditions in the morning, dance and script readings in the afternoon. Perusal scripts have been placed in local libraries including music for the primary roles. Rehearsals will begin in late February. Chelan Seniors Idaho Christmas lights trip
The Chelan Senior Center is organizing a trip on Dec. 12 to the Idaho Christmas Lights festival. Cost will be $150, which will include hotel room and boat ride. For more information or to RSVP call 682-7662.
