Dr. Amy Ellingson joins Three Rivers Family Medicine

BREWSTER – Three Rivers Family Medicine announces that a new family practice physician, Dr. Amy Ellingson will join the clinic staff at Three Rivers Family Medicine effective August 26, and that the clinic will expand its facility to accommodate more patients.

A July 11 Three Rivers media release said Dr. Ellingson specializes in disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and speaks fluent Spanish. She has been working as an outpatient and inpatient family medicine doctor at Chelan since 2002.

Dr. Ellingson is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Ellingson completed her residency in the Montana Family Practice Residency Program.

Three Rivers is expanding its top floor clinic at 415 Hospital Way to allow additional patients. Hospital administration will be relocated to other offices to make way for the enlarged clinic.

“Three Rivers Family Medicine is also hiring for a mid-level provider and this fall they will welcome the arrival of general surgeon Satbir “Rosie” Dhillon, M.D.,” said Business Development Manager Jennifer Best. “Dr. Ellingson, Dr. Dhillon and the mid-level provider will join the team specialists who already work for the clinic and Three Rivers Hospital: general surgeon Gordon Tagge, M.D.; orthopedic surgeon Jonathan Miller, M.D.; and gynecologist Ty Witt, M.D.” Best said Dhillon will also perform surgeries at North Valley Hospital in Tonasket.
