Peter Dan Road to be closed July 23 through August 21

OKANOGAN - Okanogan County Department of Public Works and Selland Construction have begun the permanent repairs of the landslide that impacts Peter Dan Rd.  Today is the first official day of contract work, and traffic control delays should be expected.  Peter Dan Road will be closed between Hwy 155 and Buffalo Lake Road July 23 through August 21.  This closure is necessary to safely excavate the failed slope above Peter Dan Rd.  A detour route is signed via Buffalo Lake Rd.
