Senior Center schedules first meeting of 2017

BREWSER - The Brewster-Pateros-Bridgeport Senior Center will hold a Board meeting at 10:30 a.m. next Thursday, March 23, and its first general meeting of the year at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 28.
“We will be discussing the upcoming year,” said Senior Center president, Kathy Lowry, “And deciding what we want to accomplish this year for the Senior Center and its members, along with some events we will hold throughout the year.” 
The Senior Center will host a Mother's Day Tea, Saturday, May 13. The time and other details will be announced in the coming weeks.
A reminder that the OCTN meals will not be served on Monday, March 27, to allow all OCTN employees to attend a monthly training program.
S.A.I.L. exercise programs are still being held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. “We are slowly but surely building the attendance,” said Lowry. “With spring around the corner, we are thinking about doing a walking program on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We will take a vote when the snow is melted.”
Several seniors have "graduated" from Eagle Rock Physical Therapy and have received a t-shirt from the facility.
“We have been receiving some very nice donations in the past week,” said Lowry., “Several pieces of furniture and lots of household items.”
