OKANOGAN – The emergency closure of the Okanogan River issued May 15 by Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers due to dangerous high-water conditions, has been lifted.
Rogers still advised caution, however.
”Just be safe and use common sense,” said Rogers. The river is still dirty, cold and has debris in it.”
