Why nobody bothers Stratford

The small unincorporated farm community of Stratford four miles northeast of Soap Lake has a post office but no town sheriff. But then, it doesn’t need one because an assortment of metal monsters fashioned from found equipment and tool parts guards the inhabitants thereabouts and scares the criminal elements away. If you dare you can catch these beasts patrolling near the intersection of Road 23 and State Route 28.
