BREWSTER – The visiting Liberty Bell Mountain Lions did little to threaten the Brewster Bears Central Washington 2B league-leading ranking as the boys’ varsity rolled over their league rivals, 80-50, and the girls won, 69-37.
Brewster sandwiched the wins between victories on the road over Oroville, 72-42, boys and 58-22 girls on Tuesday, Jan. 16, and wins over the Eagles at Soap Lake last Saturday, Jan. 20, 61-32, boys, and 64-33 girls.
The Bears remain at 11-0 in league and the Lady Bears, 11-1, as the teams look ahead to the final four games before post-season play.
Brewster was scheduled to host Manson on Tuesday, Jan. 23, before taking to the road to face Tonasket, Friday, Jan. 26, and Lake Roosevelt, Monday, Jan. 29. Brewster’s final regular season game will be against visiting Bridgeport on Tuesday, Jan. 30.
