Billygoats grab road win against Waterville-Mansfield

PATEROS – The Billygoats varsity football team moved into a three-way tie for third place in the Central Washington B-1B rankings with a 44-26 road win over the Shockers at Waterville -Mansfield last Friday, Sept. 28.

Coach Marcus Stennes described the game as a good team effort.
“We came out and gave up two quick touchdowns but were able to adjust our defense to get stops which helped get our offense going,” said Stennes. “(Jeremy) Piechalski did a great job leading us both offensively and defensively.”

The Billygoats will host 2-1 Entiat at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5.
