Bridgeport MS basketball girls host Okanogan, Liberty Bell

BRIDGEPORT - The Bridgeport Middle School seventh and eighth grade girls’ basketball teams hosted Okanogan and Liberty Bell in back-to-back games last Wednesday, Jan. 23. Okanogan seventh graders won the first game by four points, 16-12.

The second game against the Liberty Bell eighth graders went all Bridgeport’s way, 53-16. Leslie Moreno led Bridgeport with 15 points with other scores from Lizbeth Monje 10, Ashley Campos 8, Lourdes Alcantara 8, Marissa Morales 8, Leslie Valdovinos 8, Samantha Suazo 2, and Julianna Walls 2.

Scott Sattler, Craig Burke and Jeff Jackson coached the Bridgeport teams. Team managers are Crystal Bejar and Areli Espinobarros.
