Fillies, Mustangs take first and second at home meet

BRIDGEPORT – The host Fillies and Mustangs track and field teams took respective first and second places at the six school Bridgeport Quad Meet last Thursday, March 30.
The Bridgeport girls corralled 150 points to outdistance second place Omak with 117, while the Pioneer boys scored 206 points to the Mustangs 116.
The Fillies were led by Emily Saucedo who finished first in discus, Jasmine LeDuc, first in the 200 meters, Ivette Orozco, first in shot put, and the first-place 4x200 relay team.
Leading the Mustangs was Nicanor Palacios, first in the 300M intermediate hurdles, Ronaldo Ubaldo, first in 110M high hurdles, and the first-place 4x400 relay team.
Bridgeport will next compete in the Brewster Co-Ed Relays that will be held at Bridgeport on Tuesday, April 11.
