Lady Shockers Salcido named CWB All League Softball MVP

Emigh is Pitcher of the Year

WATERVILLE/MANSFIELD - Senior Ariana Salcido excelled on both the academic and athletic fields this year as not only the Salutatorian of her eight-student graduating class but also the winner of the Most Valuable Player honor in 2019 CWB All-League Softball.

Lady Shockers teammate Codee Reid was named to the All-League First Team, Ella Osborne to the All-League Second Team, and McKenna Gurnard and Eliana Silva as Honorable Mentions.

Brewster junior Sammi Emigh was named CWB All-League Pitcher of the Year and had six Lady Bears teammates selected as either First Team, Second Team or Honorable Mention picks.

Bridgeport sophomore Jackie Lombera made the Second Team as the only Fillies nominee.
