BRIDGEPORT – The Mustangs varsity football team evened its season record at 2-2 following an 80-40 loss to the visiting Yakama Tribal Eagles last Friday, Oct. 5

The loss leaves Bridgeport tied with Pateros for fourth place in the Central Washington B-1B league behind first place Entiat (3-1), and Odessa-Harrington and Almira-Coulee-Hartline, each with a 2-0 record.

Bridgeport’s wins over Wellpinit, 69-28 on Sept. 14, and Waterville-Mansfield, 32-0, Sept. 21, has kept the rebuilding Mustangs in the top half of the eight-team league. Bridgeport will travel to Odessa-Harrington this Friday, Oct. 12, and host Pateros at home, Oct. 19.
