It is always a pleasure to read in The Echo that another "Never Trumper" wants to leave Leavenworth for resettlement to Canada. I offer my assistance to Mr. Tom Guthrie in achieving his relocation dream. So many liberals such as Cher, Barbara Streisand, Al Sharpton and other Hollywood stars bray like a Donkey in their desire to move to Canada, but they never seem to have the mojo to do so.
Where they have failed, I want you to succeed.
We are only a few hours from the 49th parallel border. I would gladly reimburse your travel by auto, bus or train to British Columbia or Newfoundland. Admission is so easy.
To the Canadian border guard, immediately declare you are seeking political asylum to escape that arch Nazi, the Donald. Complete and sign your application renouncing and revoking your American citizenship at the border, and state you wish to apply for refugee status.
I will assist you in completing the U.S. State Department form available on-line. You may need to wait at your expense until there is a hearing on your application, 3 to 4 months in limbo, and not able to obtain a work permit.
The process can be shortened by offering to re-locate to Regina, Saskatchewan.
State you will take any job in the province as there is a shortage of hired help and blue collar jobs go unfilled. Never mind the sub-zero winters and blistering summers, as you breath the unpolluted air.
Yes, you will have government health care, complete with waiting lists lasting several months to see a specialist. Medicare in not accepted in Canada. There may be a cost for your medications.
If over 65, the underground cultural milieu among many health care providers and the health care system considers yourself as "dead meat." Valuable financial resources should not be wasted if seriously ill. It is your obligation to die.
Should you wish to buy a house in British Columbia, as an American waiting a decision on your request for political asylum, there is a 15 percent tax on your home purchase.
Show the Canadians how much you hate the Donald, by burning our flag, uttering obscenities about the Republicans, and learning the words to either the Maple Leaf Forever or O'Canada, yelling "Go Canuks." You can even watch your favorite government radio/TV channel, the Canadian Broadcasting Company, "Little Mosque on the Prairie." Sorry, no Fox news or MSNBC.
Enjoy the high rate of taxation on your earnings, and wonder why in the past decade, 100,000 Canadians have relocated to the USA, and only 10,000 Americans have settled in Canada.
I want you to be one of the select few to keep your promises to The Echo, and your neighbors. Don't forget there is no 1st Amendment for free speech in Canada and our Second Amendment rights are highly curtailed. It is a felony to leave your firearm for protection unsecured, and it must be kept in a safe in your house, not under the bed.

So typical of the liberal mentality, Tom Guthrie's irrational "fears" are an indication of how deranged the left really is. Deporting illegal aliens will free huge amounts of money for other purposes, while eliminating Obama's overreach along with streamlining what's left will make it easier to start business, which in turn, will result in more jobs.
As to the rest of his screed, it's the usual liberal garbage. Bottom line? We won, and you lost. Get used to it.
Oh, and Canada doesn't want you, but maybe Somalia or Qatar might. Don't let the door smack you on the way out.
