PATEROS – Nearly 20 people attended the Pateros Chamber of Commerce’s fifth monthly Business After Hours event held this month at the Alta Lake Golf Resort’s at 140 Alta Lake Road last Thursday, May 4.

Guests gathered in the resort’s Scratch Bar and Grill from 6-8 p.m. with hosts Parker and Leigh Anne Barth who operate the course

The Chamber inaugurated Business After Hours last January as a means of bringing Pateros businesses and citizens together once a month for an evening of community building and good conversation.

Alta Lake Golf Resort is the fourth Pateros business to host the event. Others hosts included Thomason Law & Justice (January), Howards on the River (February), Thomason Law & Justice (March) and Sweetriver Bakery (April).

Alta Lake Golf Resort debuted as a nine-hole course in 1974. Since being purchased by the Barth family in 1984 the site now offers an 18-hole course, 30-room motel, bar and grill, pro shop, and golf cart fleet. Catering services are also available.
