Broadcaster/historian to speak
BREWSTER – Broadcaster and historian Feliks Banel will speak at the Brewster public library at 6 p.m., Dec. 5, as part of a four-stop Humanities Washington tour of North Central Regional Library (NCRL) branches during the first week of December. Banel’s topic, Storm Warning: Historic Weather in the Evergreen State will address Washington state’s darkest weather days and most famous storms, said NCRL Communications Manager Michelle McNiel in a media release. With the aid of archival photos and media clips Banel will take his audience back in time to relive stories of those who survived some of the Pacific Northwest’s worst weather events in recorded history. Banel will also appear at NCRL branches in Manson at 5 p.m., Dec. 4; Curlew at 6 p.m., Dec. 6; and Oroville at 2 p.m., Dec. 7.

Teens At The Library
BREWSTER - Join us for our Teens At The Library Program (TATL), geared towards teens ages 12 and up, every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at the Brewster Library, 5-6 p.m. Each meeting we will host programs requested by teens. Activities include games, crafts, STEM, and special programs just for teens.
