It’s circus time in Brewster this week

BREWSTER – Advance tickets are on sale for the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus coming to the empty lot at 600 Main Street in downtown Brewster for two shows on Thursday, June 6.

Ticket prices for the 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. tented one-ring shows can be purchased at a discounted price of $12 for adults and $7 for children and seniors before circus day from Umpqua Bank, Brewster Marketplace, the Brewster Boys & Girls Club, Coldwell Banker Real Estate or online at Purchasers can also call 1-866-BIGTOP-6 during regular business hours for discounted will-call tickets.

Ticket prices on the day of the show are $15 for adults and $8 for children and seniors.

“Our 95-minute family-friendly show features Big Cats, Unicyclists, Dogs, Trapeze, Sword Balancing, the Wheel of Destiny, Russian Swing (back by popular demand), Contortion and so much more,” the circus Facebook site said.

Culpepper & Merriweather starts its season in mid-March and visits more than 200 cities and towns through 17 states during its 32-week tour that runs through October.
