QUAD CITIES – Citizens who believe they have the experience, fresh ideas, community spirit and a new perspective to get things done have until 4 p.m. Friday, May 17, to file for one of many non-partisan public offices available in Pateros, Brewster, Bridgeport and Mansfield.

Bridgeport Mayor Janet Conklin’s four-year term and three city council positions are open in Bridgeport including two-year unexpired Position 2 (Anthony Jenkins), Position 4, four-year term (Phil Lee) and Position 5 four-year term (Sergio Orozco).

Pateros has three council positions available, Position 3 four-year term (George Brady), Position 4 four-year term (Michael Harding), and Position 5 four-year term (Megan Sherrard).

Two council position in Brewster are up for grabs, Position 4 four-year term (Avis Erickson) and Positiomn5 four-year term (Tim Rieb).
Hospital District 1 Okanogan County has two commissioner positions available, No. 1 six-year term (Mike Pruett) and No. 4 six-year term (Cheryl Thomas).

The Brewster School District offers three director positions, No. 1 six-year term (Peggy Rice), No. 2 four-year term (Hector Aparicio) and No. 4 at large four-year term (Don Becker).

The Bridgeport School District director positions include No. 1 four-year term (Matt West), No. 3 four-year term (Esiquio (Zeke) Martinez) and No. 4 four-year term (Wayne Van Zwoll).

Three director positions are available on the Pateros School District Board including No. 1 four-year term (Chad Miller), No. 2 four-year term (Marc Armstrong) and No. 5 at large four-year term (Marty Robinson).

Opportunities in the Mansfield School District include Position 3 four-year term (Jesse Shafer) and Position 4 four-year term (Dusty Wittig).

These and other positions are open to Quad City community activists who can learn more and/or file by contacting the auditor’s offices online or in person in Okanogan and Douglas counties.
