McFadden, Martin conditions remain unchanged

RIDGEPORT – The latest update last Tuesday, Jan. 16, from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on the condition of burn victims Pat McFadden and Tommy Martin advised that McFadden remains in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Martin is in satisfactory condition.
McFadden and Martin suffered burns from a Jan. 6 house fire at their Bridgeport Bar home as McFadden was carrying Martin out of the burning structure. McFadden is the varsity football and basketball coach at Bridgeport High School where young Martin is an elementary student. Martin’s mother, Taralee Martin, who is a Special Education teacher at the Bridgeport school, also sustained injuries during the fire was not hospitalized.
Those wishing to send an email message to McFadden or Martin may log on to the website uwmedicine.org and select Patient & Visitor Info from the menu. Under that tab is Email a Patient that includes a form that can be completed and forwarded through proper hospital channels to McFadden and Martin.
An account called the “McFadden Account” has also been established at the Coulee Dam Federal Credit Union for those wishing to donate to the family.
