BREWSTER – The Three Rivers Hospital Board of Commissioners announced its new 2019 officers elected during its most recent regular meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Mike Pruett, who served as the board’s vice chair was elected board chair, replacing Vicki Orford who, after five years as board chair, will assume the office of board vice chair. Dr. Tracy Shrable remains in his post as board secretary/treasurer and Cherri Thomas and Leslie McNamara as commissioners-at-large.

In a media release by TRH, Chief Executive Officer Scott Graham acknowledged the abilities and service of both Pruett and Orford.
“Vicki and I were a good team and were able to forge a great relationship that provided the foundation for much of the progress we have made as a hospital,” said Graham. “Vicki has a strong affinity for those who need hospital care in our rural community. As CEO I have really appreciated Vicki’s support and encouragement to do what is right and necessary for the hospital district.”

Graham said he looks forward to working with Pruett in his new capacity as board chair.

“Both Vicki and Mike have done a great job helping this hospital district rise to the occasion, and we very fortunate to have them on our board going forward,” Graham said.

Early last October TRH announced the relocation of two clinics to their newly renovated spaces in the Hillcrest Building at 415 Hospital Way. On Oct. 8, 2018, Three Rivers Orthopedics, the orthopedic surgery and specialty clinic, and Three Rivers General surgery, the general surgery and OB/GYN surgery specialty clinic opened for business in their new spaces.
