TRH Foundation donates flat screen TVs to new patient rooms

BREWSTER – Patients at Three Rivers Hospital will not be lacking for entertainment thanks to a generous donation of television sets by the Three Rivers Hospital Foundation for the updated patient rooms. The gift of the new Samsung Smart TVs was announced earlier this month as a measure to bring some of the comforts of home to those who find themselves as patients in the newly renovated quarters.
“We would like to thank the many contributors to the Foundation that have supported us as we find ways to help improve the patient experience at Three Rivers Hospital,” a Foundation media release said. “The Foundation is developing plans to procure more items that help you have greater comfort and satisfaction should you need to use facilities at the hospital.”
The Three Rivers Hospital Foundation is an incorporated 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. The Foundation’s mission statement is to raise funds and awareness for programs and services that improve the quality of patient care and patient experience in the Three Rivers Hospital District. The hospital’s coverage area encompassing parts of Okanogan and Douglas counties serves the largest geographic area in Washington state.
TRH Foundation Vice-president Steven Ortolf encourages other businesses and individuals in the Brewster, Pateros, Methow, Winthrop and Okanogan areas to consider giving to the Foundation at its website www.threerivershospitalfoundation.org.
Foundation President Dan Webster reminds everyone that Three Rivers Hospital Foundation is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization and that all donations are tax deductible.
