VFW, Auxiliary Post #6853 to host barbecue for vets and families

MANSON - The 5th annual veterans and their families barbecue, put on by the VFW and Auxiliary Post 6853, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, 3-? p.m. at Champion Orchards, 2470 Totem Pole Road in Manson. On the menu:  ribs, chicken and all the fixings. Meal starts around 4 p.m. and is BYOB.
From Chelan, take Highway 150 to Manson. Take a right at the Manson Grange Hall on Totem Pole Road. Go up the hill to the Manson Schools, turn left to stay on Totem Pole Road. Go approximately 1.1 miles to Champion Orchards barn on the right. No need to worry about the weather, if cold barn is heated, if hot barn has AC, and if raining, lots of room.
