Vietnam veteran pinning ceremony August 22

OKANOGAN - Rep. Dan Newhouse will host the second of three Vietnam-era veteran pinning ceremonies to honor the heroes, including unreturned veterans, and their families. In partnership with the Vietnam War 50th Commemoration, Rep. Newhouse will present veterans with a service lapel pin and certificate of appreciation for their service. All constituents in the 4th Congressional District are invited to join the ceremony to honor these men and women.
The ceremony will be held at American Legion Post #56, 801 2nd Avenue North, in Okanogan on Thursday, August 22, 2-4 p.m.
