Pateros chamber to meet, BAH at Thomason Law

PATEROS - The Pateros Chamber of Commerce will meet on Thursday, March 2, 8:30 a.m. at the Fire Hall. If you have not paid your Chamber dues yet, please do. Cost is only $35 for individuals, and $75 for businesses. Business After Hours will also be held that evening at Thomason Law at 6 p.m., at their office located at 110 W. Lakeshore Drive.

Services board meeting

EAST WENATCHEE - The 2017 meeting schedule for the Columbia River Council of Governments, governing body of Aging and Adult Care of Central Washington, scheduled to meet at 50 Simon Street S.E.: March 2; April 6; May 4; June 1; July 6; Aug. 3; Sept. 7; Oct. 5; Nov. 2; and Dec.7.   All meetings begin at 1:30 p.m. Grant County Commissioner Cindy Carter is chair of the council, composed of one county commissioner from Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, and Okanogan Counties.

American Legion events

BREWSTER - American Legion Post 97 in Brewster has Friday night 8 oz. or 12 oz. sirloin steak dinners, from 5-7 p.m., every Friday. Served with salad, baked potato, vegetable, and bread. Also Sunday morning breakfast from 9 a.m.-noon every Sunday. Nice sized menu.
On March 17 during Friday night steak dinner, there will be Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner also. A limited amount will be available, so come early. Offered starting at 5 p.m.
On Saturday, March 25 there is an annual Chicken Feed. It is a memorial Chicken Feed for Betty Klamroth. Cost is by donation. There will be barbecue, baked, and fried chicken, various side salads and desserts. All proceeds benefit Betty’s family.
On Saturday, April 8 there is an Easter Egg Hunt, starting at noon. There will be prizes for different age groups.
Members and bona-fide guests are welcome.

BREWSTER - The Brewster Chamber of Commerce will meet on Tuesday, March 7, 8 a.m. in the Gamble Fitness Conference Center.

Wednesday

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport Eagles hosts bingo every Wednesday. Dinner is served at 5 p.m., bingo begins at 7 p.m., with dinner available until the bingo is over. Everyone is welcome.

AA meeting

BREWSTER - “Free At Last”!, an Alcoholics Anonymous group meets in Brewster. Meetings are Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m., at Brewster Grange Hall. All meetings are “open”.

Cancer Support Groups

CHELAN - Second Meeting Added: The Women’s Wellness Group, cancer support group, now has two support groups, the second Tuesday (March 14) of each month for lunch, with lunch provided by the Wenatchee Wellness Place, at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board Room at 11:45 a.m. and the fourth Wednesday (March 22) of each month at LaBrisa at 5 p.m.  For more information, contact Anne at 682-8718.
