Northwest Jet Sports debuts season at Apple Pie Jamboree

PATEROS – The Northwest Jet Sports Association debuted its 2019 racing season with two days of competition on Lake Pateros during the 71st Apple Pie Jamboree on July 20-21.
About 40 teams with a wide assortment of vehicles, trailers, jet skis and equipment crowded Pateros Memorial Park where racers, some of them world title holders, hit the water at 11 a.m. Saturday and added a full day of racing from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Race results were not available as of press time.

The next stop for the racers is the Lake Osoyoos Cup at Deep Bay Park in Oroville, August 2-4.
