Catherine Mae Rankin Swenson, age 66, returned to her heavenly home on August 10, 2018. She was born Sept. 23 1951 in Exeter, Calif. to George and Marie (Starcher) Rankin, the second of six children.
She is survived by Gary, her husband of 45 years, daughter April (Brandon) Leavitt, son Erik Swenson, brothers Timothy and Delford Rankin, sisters Patricia Rankin, Hatti (Neal) McKee, and Susan (Ken) Selzer, grandchildren Kelsey, Alexis, Avery, and Konner Swenson, Breeanna, Kendrick, Caitlyn, and Angelee Leavitt, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces grand nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, and baby daughter, Erin.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the LDS church at 417 S. 4th St. in Brewster. Burial followed at the Pateros Cemetery, and a gathering was held at the church to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
Though the spirit is freed from her worn out body, she will be dearly missed.
