Hubert McCracken, 82, of Okanogan County passed away at home on May 12 ,2019. He was born January 26, 1937 to Joseph and Lucille McCracken in Flippin, Arkansas. His mother’s maiden name was Flippin. He attended West Point Academy in the Army, but chose to be a Medic on the front lines. His trade was a mechanic of all types.
He married Dorothy Carol McCracken on Dec 4, 1959 in Phoenix, Arizona and raised five daughters as well as many others children. He had multitudes of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a musician, racer, loved hotrodding, fishing, gardening, and boating with family made him happy!
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joyce, wife Carol, and daughter Connie Bainard.
Survived by sister Jean Routon and brother Roy McCracken. Daughters Doreena Jo McCracken son-in-law Robert Wilborn, Deborah and Larry Faulkner, Carolyn Brooks, and Shelly Austin.
My Dad was a remakable person with qualities most people dream of. I’ll miss you forever! Love Dori.
Service 4 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at his residence.
