Melinda Ann Rahn

Melinda was born in Wauseon, Ohio to E. R. Sullivan and Alice Elizabeth Acomb. She moved to San Diego, Calif. where she met the love of her life, Richard Ray Rahn, where they married in July of 1961. They were inseparable and had four children. Three daughters, Connie Marie was born in April of 1962, Terri Lynn was born in April of 1963, Billi Lee was born in April of 1964, and one son, Richard Jr.,  born in June of 1970.
Being the wife of a Navy man they traveled together with their family to exotic and distant locals and several stops in the states before being stationed in San Diego. She worked as an accountant/bookkeeper. Some of her favorite hobbies were bowling, reading, crocheting, and camping. She loved her family deeply.
She is survived by her brother Fred Sullivan, her three daughters, Connie Flanagan, Terri Rahn, Billi Gould; her one son Richard Rahn Jr., nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Community Church in Mansfield, Wash., on May 14, 2017, at 2 p.m. There will be a second service at a future date in San Diego, Calif. All are welcome.
Linda will be laid to rest in the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, Calif., with her husband Richard.
