Porfirio Orozco Arredondo was born on September 7, 1960, in Miguel Silva, Michoacán, Mexico. He passed away on December 13 at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee after fighting leukemia for over a year.
He survives through his children Ana Laura Orozco (Burbank) and Abraham Orozco-Zamudio, and also his beloved, wife María Leticia Orozco.
He moved to the United States in 1986. He enjoyed working as an orchardist for Gebbers Farms for over twenty years. After marrying Leticia in February, 1996, they continued to build their family and friendships in Brewster, Wash.
A gift Porfirio gave those around him was the willingness to smile in difficult circumstances.
His family will hold a viewing and a Rosary at Barnes Chapel from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 21, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bridgeport.
