Ronald Eugene “Ron” Foutch, 72, of Wenatchee and a former longtime Carlton resident, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 15, 2017. 

Ron was born to Betty Joy Barta on October 18, 1944 at Richmond, California. He spent most of youth in Kalispell and Big Fork, Montana. He graduated from the Flathead County High School in Kalispell, with the class of 1962. He continued his education attending college at Sheridan, Wyoming and while there he met and was later married to Karen Cecilia Floretta in 1963. Ron worked for Boeing Aircraft Company in Seattle and finally made the move to the Methow Valley, which he loved so much. He loved to fish and drive his classic 1960 Dodge Matador to car shows or just cruise to show it off. When he could no longer fish, he turned to poker for entertainment. 

Ron is survived by his wife, Karen, Wenatchee; son Wesley and wife Leah, Littleton, Colorado; daughter D’lynn, Wenatchee; six grandchildren, Bailey, LaQuinta, California, and Sabrina, Christian, Bridget (known as “Bill” to grandpa) and Miles all in Littleton, Colorado, and Alec, Marysville, Washington and great-granddaughter, Paisley, also of Marysville; sisters Nadine Rishforth and Tereasa Schulz of Witchita, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Cheryl Hansen.
