Nannies bring young team to new basketball season

BRIDGEPORT – The Nannies varsity basketball team has a small setback in their home opener against Soap Lake last Friday, Nov. 30, when the Lady Eagles pulled out a 47-36 win over their hosts. Bridgeport got even last Monday, Dec. 3, when they sent Easton home on the short end of a 72-13 score that left the

Nannies with one Central Washington 2B League loss as they headed into their third consecutive home stand on Tuesday, Dec. 4, this time against Lake Roosevelt.

Bridgeport will be on the road at Manson on Friday, Dec. 7, and host Tonasket at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.

The Nannies had just two CW2B league wins last year and with only two seniors on the roster, have a young team filled out with four juniors and five sophomores.

Coach Stuart Dezellem is again at the helm with assistant Kate Luttrell. Adania Garcia is team manager.
