Brewster, Pateros football teams open practice August 15

BREWSTER/PATEROS – Fall football practice for both the Brewster Bears and Pateros Billygoats football teams gets underway next Wednesday, August 15.

Pateros Athletic Director Marcus Stennes said the Bilygoats begin early that first day at 6:30 a.m. and will hold a second practice at 5 p.m.

“It will then be from 7-8:30 in the morning the rest of the week,” Stennes said.

Stennes will serve as head coach again this year with Shane Kelley as his assistant.

Volleyball practice starts on August 20 under new coach Chloe Gill.

Brewster Athletic Director Greg Austin said the Bears also begin football practice on August 15, and remaining fall sports on August 20.

Austin said all coaches are returning from last year. They include:
