SUMNER – The Brewster girls’ varsity soccer team recovered from a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime shootout loss to St. George’s on Friday, Nov. 17, to defeat Adna, 2-0, and win third place in the 2017 WIAA 2B State Soccer Championships, Saturday, Nov. 18.

Against the Mountain Lions, Brewster connected on three of four kicks while Liberty Bell missed the mark on three of four to take the loss. Against the Dragons, Brewster came up one short, 5-4.
