Spiffy new entrance at Bridgeport Middle School

Posted
Bridgeport School District officials said that the next step in the continuing upgrades at Bridgeport Middle School would be new doors and windows, and they were as good as their word. Out came the old wood doors and single pane windows in the front entrance and in went new insulated doors and windows Friday, Nov. 7.

The old wooden doors at the other end of the building, the ones down by the M&F Coffee Shop entrance, also were replaced. The old doors have been swapped out with spiffy new doors with a metal skin and insulated interior, and new double pane insulated windows. The new entrance still retains the same look, the doors surrounded by windows, that have been there since the building was constructed back in the early 1950s. It does give the front an updated look.

Horizon Glass was in charge of installation.
