Lake Chelan Arts Council cancels 2020 Arts Festival

Chelan - The Lake Chelan Arts Council has cancelled the June 27 and 28, Arts Festival, due to the Covid-19 virus. Physical distancing is the order of the day and the Arts  Council wants our artists and community to stay safe and healthy. 
Looking ahead to the future the Arts Council is planning on holding the Arts Festival in 2021, on  June 26 and 27. In addition we will be announcing, in the fall, the theme of our second annual  Lake Chelan Winter Art Exhibit. 
The Lake Chelan Arts Council wishes all of you strength and good health. 
The Lake Chelan Arts Council, a non-profit 501(c)(3), was founded in 1985 to promote, fund,  and support the visual and performing arts in the Lake Chelan Valley. The Arts Council  sponsors an annual, juried Arts Festival the fourth weekend in June in Riverwalk Park, is the  leader in developing and maintaining, with the ongoing support of the City of Chelan and the  Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Chelan Outdoor Art Gallery, teaches the Picture This Artist  Appreciation Program to third Grade students in Manson and Chelan and organizes an annual  Winter Art Exhibit.
