Tickets are now available at the Lake Chelan Mirror, 315 E. Woodin Ave., for the Leavenworth Rotary Club's Bavarian Raffle, for a dream vacation to Bavaria. The Raffle includes round trip air fare for two from Seattle to Munich and $3,500 in spending money. You can take the trip any time you wish. Raffle tickets are $10 each but only 2,500 tickets will be sold. Tickets are also available on line at http://www.leavenworthrotaryfest.com/raffle%20tickets.html. Funds raised by the Raffle support local scholarships, the Food Bank, Free Clinic and many other Rotary Humanitarian efforts.
Bat Boy The Musical
Avalon Music, Hodgson's Family Care, Nick McLean Real Estate Group, North 40 Productions, and Tom K. Michael Family Dentistry come aboard as presenting sponsors of Bat Boy The Musical, the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee's summer community production. The PAC is still accepting additional sponsors for Bat Boy the Musical; those interested may contact Matt Cadman atmattc@pacwen.org for more information. Bat Boy the Musical will be produced by Don Fox and directed/choreographed by Jaime Donegan. The 11 performances will take place entirely on the PAC stage starting Thursday, July 31. The cast will be announced shortly.

Buckner Homestead Heritage Foundation membership drive
The 2014 membership drive for the Buckner Homestead Heritage Foundation is now in progress. The foundation promotes the care and preservation of the Buckner homestead, orchard, and community atmosphere in perpetuity. Memberships are one form of contributing funds to support their work at the Homestead located in Stehekin. Checks payable to the Buckner Homestead Heritage Foundation, can be mailed to PO Box 184, Manson, WA 98831. Blood drive
The February Red Cross Blood Drive will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Lake Chelan United Methodist Church from 1-6 p.m. Sponsors for this blood drive are the Lake Chelan Lions Club and the Chelan High School Med Club. Donors may call 1-800-733-2767 to sign up for their time. In 2013 the Chelan Manson communities had a total of 244 donors with 232 units collected.

Chamber Business After Hours
Marcela's Cocina Mexicana Resturant is hosting Business After Hours for the first time on Thurs., Feb. 20! "We are looking forward to the opportunity to get to know other business owners in the valley. This is a great opportunity to get to know people and thank other business owners." Clothing giveaway
Clothing and accessories will be given away on March 1 and 15, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Riverwalk Closet, located at Chelan Riverwalk Church on the corner of Emerson Street and Okanogan Avenue in Chelan. Free tax help
AARP partners with the IRS to offer Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. Free tax help is available to low and moderate income individuals and families by an IRS certified volunteer. This help is available a the Chelan Public Library, 216 N. Emerson, on Wednesdays, Noon-6 p.m. Due to unforeseen circumstances the Chelan site will close March 12. You need to bring, proof of childcare payments, state issued photo ID, other IRS forms as appropriate, last year's tax return (if available), bank account and routing number, direct deposit of applicable.
