Informational open house for bond Jan. 14

Pateros School District patrons are being invited to an open house to talk about a possible construction bond Wednesday, Jan. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pateros School library.

The Pateros School Board will hold a special meeting Monday, Jan. 12 to decide whether or not to submit a bond to district patrons; if board members decide to proceed, the open house is a go. If the bond is approved by district voters, the money would be used to pay for upgrades to the existing building, including a new heating system and possible upgrades to the bus garage and school kitchen.

The open house will include a list of what the bond would contain, and information about costs for each individual project. All interested district patrons are being invited.
