Manson's Farmers' Market Saturdays and Wednesdays at the Manson Grange, 157 E. Wapato Way. Selling starts at 8:30 a.m., when the gong sounds and goes until sell out or noon at the latest.

Celebrate Recovery meetings
Lake Chelan Celebrate Recovery Meets every Thursday at Little Stone Church, 2133 West Woodin Avenue. Dinner is at 6 p.m., cost is $3. Group meeting at 6:30 p.m., followed by gender-specific small groups. Celebrate Recovery is a confidential, Biblically-based twelve step program for anyone struggling with addiction, co-dependency, gambling, relationships and other life issues. Contact: 509-860-8108.

NAMI meeting
The next meeting of the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) will be held on Thursday, August 7, 5 p.m. at the Lake Chelan United Methodist Church, corner of Johnson and Emerson in Chelan, use the alley entrance by the Lake Chelan Clinic. Everyone is invited to attend. This is a confidential meeting. Meetings will be held the first Thursday of every month. For information 682-4371.

Columbia Valley Community Health Back to School Health Fair
Celebrate National Health Center Week with Columbia Valley Community Health at their 5th Back to School Health Fair, Saturday, August 9, 9 a.m.-noon at their Wenatchee location. There will be games, free backpacks and school supplies for children entering grades K-12. Students must be present to receive a backpack. Visit CVCH.org for more information. This family event is a partnership between the North Central Educational Service District, the United Way of Chelan and Douglas counties and Columbia Valley Community Health.

Fill the bus
Let's Fill the Bus. Help us fill the bus with school supplies for Manson School District 2014/2015 school year. Look for the bus Saturday at Manson Saturday Farmers Market and Sunday morning at Manson Red Apple Market. All school supplies collected will be distributed by Manson School District. Back to School Fair at Riverwalk Park
The 2nd Annual Lake Chelan Valley Back to School Fair will be Sunday, August 10, 4-7 p.m., at Chelan Riverwalk Park, 117 E Wapato Avenue in Chelan. There will be free backpacks, school supplies, free haircuts, community resources, and family fun. Children must be present to receive a backpack. Wellness Group Cancer Support Group
The Women's Wellness Group, cancer support group, will meet at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital for lunch on Tuesday, August 12, at 11:45 a.m. in the Board Room. Lunch is now being provided by the Wenatchee Wellness Place.

Arts Festival
Lake Chelan Fine Arts Festival will be Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 17 in Riverwalk Park, corner of Emerson and Wapato in downtown Chelan. Hours are Noon-8 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. 40 booths featuring local and regional artists. Art on display and for sale includes paintings, photography, jewelry, clothing, ceramics, quilts and more. "Art by the Foot" Silent Auction -- 12" x 12" pieces by local artists, specially commissioned for the Festival. Live entertainment provided by 8 acts on all 3 days, plus kids' activities. Free Admission.

Slam-N-Jam 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
This event is a 3-on-3 basketball tournament that features players of all ages and skill levels and is played in the parking lot of Don Morse Park. For more information or to sign up 509-670-0180.
