WENATCHEE - Come to Pybus Public Market this Saturday, Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to fight hunger in our community. For a $10 donation, you will receive a bowl, paint, and instructions to create your own masterpiece and at no extra cost you will be invited to a dinner on March 11 at the Wenatchee High School where your creation will be returned to you with soup in it.

Inspirations & Art Ceramics Cafe will be at Pybus Market on Saturday to help everyone channel their inner artist and give expert advice on painting their bowls. They are the crew who donates their time to glaze all of the bowls and then fire them into finished masterpieces.

"We know that food security is a real issue in our community and this event is a way for local residents to help in a meaningful and fun way," said Michael McGrath, AmeriCorps volunteer coordinating this event. "We held this event at Pybus Market a month ago and it was so popular, we ran out of bowls, so we are holding it again this Saturday," added McGrath.

This event is brought to our community by the Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council and United Healthcare.
