Apple Pie Jamboree awarded $6,000 grant

PATEROS – The Apple Pie Jamboree, the popular family event that has been held on the third weekend in July since 1947, is one among 52 nonprofits recognized last month by the Community Foundation of North Central Washington (CFNCW) with a $6,000 grant.

The award is part of $412,000 distributed through the Regional Impact Grant (RIG) to eligible nonprofits in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. Grants range in size from $14,000 to $6,000.
