Brewster Chamber announces tree lighting, Best of the Best events

BREWSTER – The Brewser Chamber of Commerce finalized its schedule for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 26, during its regular monthly meeting last Wednesday, Nov. 9

The Christmas Tree Lighting will be at dark around 4:30 p.m., at the Legion Park, said Chamber president Mike Mauk.

“Santa and Mrs. Claus will do the honors,” said Mauk. “We will then move on to the Senior/Chamber Center for our Best of the Best Brewster Awards ceremony. Following the ceremony Santa will collect all the kids’ Christmas wish lists and invite them to sit on his lap for pictures.”

A special treat will feature popular local singer Brittany Jean who will perform a selection of holiday songs from 6-7 p.m. while visitors enjoy refreshments and ring in the holiday season.

“We encourage all of the members to attend,” said Mauk. “This is going to be a very special evening.”
