Hoping to hook a lunker

Pateros school students up to 15 years of age enjoy a day of fishing last Friday, May 12 in Frank’s Pond at the Beebe Springs Wildlife Area near Chelan. Pateros principal Mike Hull said it was the second of three consecutive Fridays that some 30 Pateros youngsters get to make the trip as part of the schools Arts and Crafts program. “We’re making memories here,” Hull said.
