NCW Regional Tourism Summit Feb. 11 at CTC

WENATCHEE - The 3rd Annual NCW Regional Tourism Summit this year focuses on Tourism Sustainability: sustaining what we have; integrating sustainable practices into tourism operations; leveraging resources to grow tourism products in our region.

Join us on Monday, Feb. 11 for this informative and inspiring Summit with presentations and workshops held at the Confluence Technology Center, 285 Technology Center Way, Wenatchee from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m.

The program features facilitators Nancy Smith ( Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce), Jennifer Tate (Okanogan County Tourism Council), Simone Carlysle-Smith  (Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association), Stacy Luckensmeyer (WVC Center for Entrepreneurship), Roni Holder-Diefenbach (Economic Alliance of Okanogan County), and Lynn Longan (Washington State Department of Commerce) and Canadian partners from the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association.

Registration includes a catered lunch by Ravenous Catering.

The agenda includes:
• The latest news from the Route 97 Road Trip Touring Partnership
• An orientation to the Biosphere Designation for Tourism Sustainability
• Workshops on: Growing your business with regional marketing assets; developing tourism businesses; and improving the environmental impact of your tourism operation.

There is a $10 charge to attend this event sponsored by the North Central Washington Economic Development District.
