BRIDGEPORT – It was a perfect night to greet Santa and Mrs. Claus in Bouska Park last Friday, Dec. 9. The park Christmas tree was all aglow with colored lights and hot chocolate was available to keep visitors warm. Snow was falling on the line of celebrants gathered to give Christmas wishes to the North Pole couple seated in the shelter of the park gazebo. Gift bags were handed out to everyone who attended. A photographer was on hand to record every family who turned out to see Santa.
Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce president Carlos Henriquez who helped organize this year’s Santa Comes to Town had arranged for the city’s fire truck to give the Claus couple a tour of the town and deliver them to the park, but a house fire pressed the fire equipment and crew into service elsewhere.
