Volunteers at the Brewster Food Bank were a busy bunch on Thursday morning, Nov. 17, handing out whole chickens to customers queued up in their vehicles at the 9 a.m. start time. Food bank director Dan Biddle said the facility purchased 80 birds for the giveaway to go along with 1,100 pounds of food donated by the Log Church School.
