Fillies, Mustangs drop games to Manson, Soap Lake

MANSON - The Bridgeport Fillies varsity basketball team fell to the Lady Trojans at Manson, 32-23 last Friday, Jan. 14.

"Samantha Martinez led all scorers with 17 points," said coach Stuart Dezellem. She also had nine rebounds and two steals."

Three days earlier the Bridgeport girls lost a close home game to Soap Lake, 39-36.

"Martinez had another solid performance with her fifth double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds.to go along with six steals. 

The Mustangs didn't fare any better, losing to Manson, 55-33 and Soap Lake, 66-59.

Bridgeport was scheduled to host Tonasket, Tuesday, Jan. 17, and play the Hornets at Oroville, Thursday, Jan. 19.

Homes games were scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21 against Cascade and Tuesday, Jan. 24 with Waterville-Mansfield.
