Fundraising raffle benefits St. James Episcopal Food Bank

A fundraising quilt raffle generated $500 for the St. James Episcopal Food Bank; Leslie Robb of the Columbia River Quilting Guild presented the check Thursday, Aug. 28.

Every year quilt guild members make a quilt and raffle it off, with the proceeds going to a worthy project in Brewster, Bridgeport or Pateros. This year the food bank in Brewster was the worthy project. Director Mike Lundstrom said the money would be used to buy food for distribution.
